Being kind to yourself means treating yourself with compassion, understanding, and patience, acknowledging your own needs and limitations, and actively engaging in self-care practices to manage stress, rather than expecting yourself to be perfect all the time.
Mindfulness vs. Overidentification
Be mindful of holding a balanced perspective of negative thoughts. Accept them. Don’t supress them or overidentify with them.
Self-Kindness vs. Self-Judgement
Be kind and understanding to yourself when mistakes are made.
Common Humanity vs. Social Isolation
We are only human! We all make mistakes.
